Residents of Airdrie can rest assured that their drinking water continues to be clean and safe to drink right from the tap!
The flat rate portion of the water and sewer bill will no longer include any allowance for consumption. All water and sewer consumption as measured at the water meter will be charged as consumption.

To provide the citizens and businesses of Airdrie with a sustainable, potable water and sewer system, 24 hours per day, and to receive and disperse funds to ensure that the customer has a safe, healthy water supply and sewer system.
The water utility purchases water from the City of Calgary. High quality drinking water is pumped from Calgary and stored in storage reservoirs and is further pumped into our underground distribution network. Customer properties are serviced from this network and all water consumption is metered for billing purposes.
