Community Safety

The City of Airdrie strives to provide many resources for a safe community. This includes:

• Disaster Services provides assistance and obtains additional resources in the event of a crisis for the citizens of Airdrie and Emergency Services (police, fire and ambulance) whose resources could be overwhelmed in the event of a major emergency.
• High quality, timely Emergency Services (fire and medical) to enhance the safety and quality of life for our community and customers.
• A Municipal Enforcement team providing the citizens of Airdrie with enforcement services designed to enhance quality of life and a safe community.
• The City of Airdrie contracts the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to provide police services for citizens, providing the RCMP with civilian administrative staff.
