Legacy Project Opportunities

Airdrie Centennial Legacy Project  - Sponsored
Support art in our community through the Centennial Legacy Arts Project in Airdrie, which will be a lasting work of public art, embracing the past and celebrating the future.

Centennial Art Project 
Support a lasting legacy of creative artwork celebrating Airdrie's past, present and future. Artistic concept and craftsmanship are innovative and incorporates an Airdrie Centennial theme.

Centennial Mural 
The Centennial mural is a project to enhance community pride and celebrate Airdrie's Centennial. All sponsors of legacy projects will receive the following recognition opportunities:

  • Donor recognition on commemorative wall display
  • Corporate name and logo displayed as a Centennial sponsor on Centennial marketing materials
  • Corporate name and logo displayed with recognition for specific sponsored legacy project
  • Corporate name and/or logo displayed on the Airdrie Centennial web site
  • A commemorative photograph of contributor
  • A copy of the Airdrie Centennial history book
  • An opportunity to participate in an unveiling ceremony of public art

Centennial Commemorative Book
Airdrie's history book will be a keepsake for generations to come, documenting the past 100 years with
photographs and stories.

  • A copy of the history book

Oral Histories/Vignettes
The opportunity to support the development of an interactive, educational and entertaining video documenting Airdrie's history.

  • Corporate name and logo included as a sponsor on the oral history multi-media project
  • Corporate name and/or logo displayed on the Airdrie Centennial web site
  • A copy of the multi-media project Historical Tool Kit. The collection of information from the historical  archives will preserve Airdrie's heritage. 
  • Corporate name and logo included as a sponsor in the historical tool kit
  • Corporate name and/or logo displayed on the Airdrie Centennial web site

Historical Markers
Experience and learn about the memories of old Airdrie through historical markers placed at significant landmarks within our community.

Timeline Brochure
The brochure will be a keepsake for generations to come, delivered to each home in Airdrie.
